Feed. Fix. Network.
Keep our Dogs out of the shelters.
We don't wait for the dogs to come to us. We go to them—into the hardest places and forgotten corners—because that's where the dogs are.
Who We Are
Rovers Return Dog Rescue is a grassroots, boots-on-the-ground 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Riverside County, California. Our work focuses on supporting stray, abandoned, and unwanted dogs living in areas where resources are limited and animal services are overwhelmed.
We feed, rescue, medically support, and advocate for dogs who would otherwise be overlooked. Many of the dogs we help live in remote areas, homeless encampments, or the outskirts of rural communities. We step in where no one else does.

Three pillars guide everything we do
Feed
We maintain feeding routes across Riverside County, building trust with dogs who have learned to survive by avoiding people.
Fix
We arrange spay/neuter, vaccinations, and medical care — reducing suffering and preventing more homeless dogs.
Network
We build relationships with residents, advocates, and shelters to create pathways for dogs to find safety.

What Makes Us Different
We meet dogs where they are — literally. Our team goes into the field, day and night, building relationships and earning trust over time. We work with the most challenging situations and never give up on a dog.
"We specialize in dogs who fall through the cracks — the ones too shy, too injured, too overlooked, or too misunderstood for most systems to accommodate."
Every Dog Deserves a Second Chance
Your support helps us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need.
