What to Expect as a Volunteer
Before You Apply
A few things to know so you can go in with the right expectations.
18 or older
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license
Required if you're interested in transporting dogs to vet visits, foster homes, or events.
Real rescue work
Field work can involve dirt, odors, noise, and occasionally scratches or bites, along with stressful and emotionally difficult situations. We'll train and support you, but it's important to know what to expect.
