With a shortage of foster homes, we are increasingly having to find alternative ways to keep dogs safe while we search for foster and forever homes. More and more, this means using boarding facilities to ensure dogs have a safe place to stay until a foster or adopter can take them. While boarding can be lifesaving, it also adds substantial costs to rescue.
